Insurance for new appliances?
«

I am buying a new stove, and naturally, I am being offered those store insurance deals. That is, where the store claims that if my stove breaks they will fix it or replace it, or whatever. I have heard that those are a waste of money, as if the appliance breaks it should be under warranty. Do I pay the extra money in this case in case the stove breaks?

D*mn those stoves. If you know it will break soon enough, just buy a quality one. I had ours break in less than 6 months. I usually get tired of replacing them and find a repairman to do it. Insurance on stoves are really absurd if you ask me.

I think so as well. If you have the warranty that came with the purchase, make sure it is about 1 year after purchase. I insure almost every purchase and most insurances kick in after the initial warranty is over. May be a life saver or should I say a stove saver.

Yes, theyre a waste of money. As appliances come with warranties. These should cover all kinds of defects, hence no more need for additional insurance.

Insurance for new appliances is beneficial to the customers. Whenever we had some compliance that cannot be rectifiable, in this case we can claim it and buy new one.But carefully read the condition, in which we can claim or replace.

Again, Forget the insurance. They aren't made to have this. Just the warranty and you'll be fine IMO.

I too think it is just the warranty for the appliances. I have not heard about the insurance for the new appliances.

Home appliance insurance are just like any other insurance but more suitable to costly appliances. If problem comes in your new appliances you can replace your appliances or get money back.
