i got a home theater system with 5.1 channel at home. do you guys have. if you got what is the brand and how is the performance. my brand is yamaha. whats yours?

I don't have one yet, but a friend has a great Denon system.

He tells me it has 7.1 capabilities, but I've only heard it in 5.1 at his old place and more recently just in stereo at his new condo. He plans to bump it back up to 5.1 sometime.

I still have my stereo surround sound system that I purchased in 1999.  It still has great sound, but the CD changer doesn't work as well anymore.  It also doesn't have as many speakers as the current systems do.  I just can't enjoy a movie w/o surround sound--guess I'm addicted. .

The amp we're currently using for our DVD player was bought in the 70s! It's a Rotel and it certainly doesn't have 5.1, but it's outlasted just about every other component in our system.

How do you like the Yamaha system, joe? I've had some good Yamaha musical equipment in the past.

I've Sony 7.1 home theater system at my home. It really rocks!!!!!

I am having my favorite brand Sony. Really sound effect is so nice.

I kept the speakers as in the four corners of my room, i have to  properly wall mount it soon.

yeah i was used for 5.1 home theater system
my home theater so beautiful and good condition....i was used 2 years there is no problem...last month purchase my friend sony 5.1 home theater

I have LG product in my home purchased last year. Whenever i hear a song or watch movie in my home theater i feel so good. But it not easy to maintain  anyway i keep it safely.

Yes i have it.My brand is Philips and it is very useful to me,i hear only with full sound so house next door people are hatting me but i don't care it.
