Media Room Mania

Do you have the ultimate media room? Want to boast about it. Tell everyone just what made yours the best on the block. What brand and model did you go with and why? Did the room layout make any difference?

I worked on an amazing media room a few months ago.  This house is worth millions and they decided that they wanted the walls a different colour.  I couldn't even to begin to understand all of the electronics.

I don't have a media room although we have a billiard room with a full size pool table- may look at adding some wicked audio sound in there at some stage.

I don't have a media room.  A friend of mine has a home theater.  It is so cool.  They even have the refreshment area set up in the back with a popcorn popper like at the movie theaters.

I am hoping to invest in a media room someday, although I have a very impressive Den. My Den has everything in it you could want, it also splits off from the Gym. So right after a hard workout you can go get a message in the Den and shower.  One thing though, all my media is Media Center enabled so my Media can follow me throughout the house.

We're in a 2 bedroom condo, and we're just about to renovate the solarium which will become more of a music room, as in music production.

Then we'd like to go 5.1 with a fairly large flatscreen in the living area. I don't have preferences at this point regarding brands. As I mentioned in another thread, a friend has a great Denon system.

Wow to all!!!! I just wish I could have one someday. I love gathering people around and giving them treats. Maybe I could work on having one someday huh! ::)

No, Not yet. I've plan to establish a media room in my new house. I'm going to have 52" wide screen lcd tv with a decent home theater installed. I haven't decided the brand yet, suggestions are welcome!

I really would love to put up a media room in our house, if I only have a huge house,

the problem is that, our house is so small..

I'm thinking of expanding our house first before I put up the media room, so that we can still have enough space to roam around the house.
