Wireless Speakers?
«
on:

We need to fix up our sound system.
I would love to have speakers that are powerful enpugh that we can add speakers to the kitchen and to the pergola in the back yard.
Are there any wireless speakers that will handle such a wide dispersal, or should we just get small, portable player for the back yard?

We have a wireless Bose speaker system at our house and it is excellent. You should look into getting a Bose system.

My friend has built-in speakers in her ceiling in 3 rooms in the downstairs. I will have to ask her what she has. Nothing outside though.
Bose is a great name- I would check into that too.

Bose is a great name, but it is also pretty pricey.
A portable and inexpensive box might be easier.

I'd definitely be interested in wireless speakers for a 5.1 system, when we get it. But I'm not sure that they make them.
I definitely hear more about wireless headphones.
I agree that Bose sounds good, but some of their products seem a little pricey to me.

Yes, there are wireless speakers which would suit your requirements. There are also some small specialized wireless speakers which handles the wide dispersal phenomenon.

Is there any compromise in frequency range when you're using wireless systems as opposed to hard wired speakers?

Bose is quite pricey, yes! but they do excellent jobs. Are there alternative brands with the same quality?

I have had the wireless speakers and I wass not too happy with them. If you walked by the speakers they would cut out.

I would agree on the Bose System, they have a wide variety of system for your specific needs and they sound amazing.

I have always wanted wireless speakers, until I got them. One suggestion: "Don't buy cheap ones!" Wireless speakers and other wireless electronics should be of a certain quality if you want them to work correctly. Bose is the way to go, but do your research.
