Well I can tell you two contractors that you shouldn't hire to build a home in my area. 

Our first contractor didn't put any insulation around our windows! When we moved in it started snowing right in threw the windows.  Luckily we hadn't paid our last installment to them and decided to withhold it and hire another contractor.

Then our house now we told the contractor that built this house that we had to withhold that payment so we want things done right this time.  Well, guess what.  We withheld payment from these people too.   They put in the wrong size air conditioner, the foundation leaks, and the garage man door leaks!

Before hiring a contractor, better gather information about him and his work quality. Also withheld some payment till you get a satisfied work.

I don't know any good service provider in my area. I know some person but they are not much faithful person.

Now-a-days every contractors or service providers are not service oriented, they are money oriented. Even they will theft something if we allow them to work freely. It happened in my neighbors house. So be careful in fixing service providers......

it's really better before hiring some constructor, know their backgrounds first...

and the quality of their works.
