LIGHT UP SUMMER NIGHTS WITH THE SUN

Yoshihiro Shimomura, a Circuit Designer, lecturer at Chiba University in Japan, created a solar powered wind-lit LED lights to lighten up summer nights. With a solar power panel during the day, and the night breeze, lights shine during evenings. Shining hours vary according with how much charged they had.

ENGINERING AND DESIGNING FOR A GREENER WORLD!! And the example comes from Far East Asia… :)
When lights are set outside, the sun generates electricity witch is stored in a battery called electric double-layer capacitor.

A MAGIC SITE: like magic, when darkness fall and wind blows, the lights winkle and shine. People come on purpose to watch. It does attract people to see it. Now imagine a backyard, a terrace café, your way to door entrance, or any other place you want to make it beautifully light enhanced, at no cost.  ;)[/img]

That's a great news! It would be better though if it can also be done in the winter and not just in the summer. Still this is a great step and building a better on. Thanks for posting this here.
