We will be remodeling a couple of rooms in hour home, meaning walls will be torn down and replaced.  Since the home is an older one, we need to upgrade tons of electrical to provide more outlets.

Should we have our computer lines done at the same time?

It would be nice to be able to access the network from any room, without relying on a wireless connection.

Is this a common request?

It's always good to get as much done at once, as possible.  Even if the electricians won't run the computer wiring, and I don't know why they wouldn't, it's the perfect time to get them installed.

Have you checked for any companies that can come in and do hte computer wiring?

I think you should get them remodeled as well. Further many of the electricians would remodel them if the clients requested and that is how most of the electricians gets goodwill among their clients.

i think electricians would consider about doing the wiring stuff, for me whenever i have problems or any matters about the computer i called up the provider to fix it for me.

I think it is better to include the computer lines anyway there are men available to do the job instead of recalling them later to do almost the same thing.  Sort of one-time installation for everything.

Putting the computer wiring in the walls is a great idea, it won't cost much more, and the only thing would be cutting the drywall to accomadate the oulet and wiring them in.  My husband is really good at wiring even though he isn't an electrician

Wiring for the PC sounds like a job for a technician! What happens if the thing goes down or crashes?
Do you need to get into the wall or what?

yes it is the best option you can do it at the same time.

what about installing wirings for your computer and internet connections in as many areas inside your hose as you would wish them to be possibly placed in the future. we have that in our house.so convenient.

yes it can be done, try inquiring it or asking an electrician to fix this..but i guess you need to buy some wiring also..

sure, its the right time for you to fix all your electric lines and computer lines. But i think wireless connection will be best and cheaper, make sure you really need to go for cat5 cables.

Last month i bought new computer so i make some arrangement in the wiring. Consult a electrician to make the proper arrangement. That time i used to remodeling all the wiring.

It is a wise thing to go for complete wiring while remodeling the house itself. Other wise you have to damage the walls whenever you need for rewiring. Consult a professional electrician for good work.
