Title: Cold Water Washing Post by: ekmallette on June, 17, 2009, 07:51:13 AM We've been only using cold water to do our laundry and I actually think it's saved us on our electricity. I know we have much more hot water available for use during the day than we did when we used a warm wash for sure. Also, I'm noticing that it actually gets the clothes just as clean!

Try to avoid hot water washing with washing machine to save electricity. Better personally soak the clothes in warm water and then wash in washing machine.

It is really true if we use cold water for washing clothes then we save energy as well as our clothes too. Hot water consumes lot of energy and also decreases life of cloth. |
