The popular push seems to be turning things off. On the other hand, for security reasons, it is recommended that some lights be left on. So what now? Should these lights be left on when no one is home, or should they all be turned off?

Should these lights be left on when no one is home, or should they all be turned off?well i guess in my opinion i would rather turn off the lights ..less electrical consumptions and more safer..anyway our house is near the mercury lights (road lights) which is more advantageous for us..
My practice is when nobody in home i will switch off all the lights and put on one Zero-watts bulb in the hall.
There is always shortage of energy. So that we have 2-3 hours power cut daily. Keeping in mind why do we waste energy. Better to switch off lights when no one is in home.
