A couple of years ago I went to visit a friend out in New Hampshire and a friend of hers had a room done up with slate flooring.  I really loved the look of that and I've actually wanted one ever since!  It really opened my mind about what you can use to cover a floor as well.

I've slate floor in my kitchen. Its great!!!  There are different colors in slate floor.

Is it possible to lay the slate floor on a wood sub floor?

I have installed in my bathroom and kitchen. So colorful, easy to maintain but more expensive one.
