i heard some home builders are providing the package along with the finance from banks. is that true?

Yes its true and they will take afferent commission from banks.

They probably do this but I bet that the interest rate is higher than if going threw a bank yourself.    If they work threw a bank for you, they probably add on a commission with the closing costs.  Just check around to make sure you get the best rate.

This is definitely something to check out. You don't want to end up paying almost double in fees and interest.

I wasn't aware of this either. It does sound like a way for builders to tack more commission fees on by adding it in with what you have financed. I think I would feel safer by doing it the old fashioned way.

Yes thats true, but if you get finance from bank directly, i'm sure that definitely there will be lesser interest rate when compared with home builders.

Yea some home builders are providing. But be clear with before itself about the interest particulars and period of paying the amount.

Builders also heard from multiple sources on how best to negotiate with lenders on working through problematic existing loans for projects that have succumbed to the negative forces prevailing to at least some extent in most parts of the country.
