I have several rolls of carpet in the storage which are gifts from relatives.  I am not happy about unrolling and laying them on my floor because its tedious to have them clean. What do you think I should do with them?

If you have rolls of carpet and do not want to use them, surely you would know someone that could use them.  They are very pricey and I am pretty sure someone would apprieciate them

I agree carpets accumulate more dust and difficult to wash... I suggest to use them as wall decor on your bedroom or dining room, or use them as gifts to friends who are building their homes.

I like the wall decor idea, assuming these carpets are oriental and very colorful.  Other wise, you could place them between the rows of a garden, or sell them on Ebay.

In your shoes, I would probably just sell the carpet.  I am sure there are tons of folks looking for good deals on floor coverings.

If the carpets are in great shape definitely sell them...or if you're feeling generous donate them to charity!

i don't think you can sell them . better you give them for charity. because selling gifts won't look nice.

I'd sell them.  The people that gave them to you won't know and someone else would probably be happy to get them at a discounted price.

If money was not an object I would donate the carpets. They can be used in homeless shelters, boarding homes as well as new low income housing units. The Salvation Army could also use them to redo their old day shelter rooms and drop in centers.

If you don't have any plans of using them, just sell them or just give them away to relatives who might want to have a carpet. That's what I do usually. When I don't need something like a particular furniture or an electric appliance, I ask my relatives if they want them. If they're not interested, I sell them.

if its a gift then maybe i should say that just keep it there..its not good to give this to another friend..and who knows maybe you can use it in the near future..

Right giay,Some years before i could also used carpets in my living room. But cleaning is the highly tedious work. So i removed it and give it to my servant.

I don't think selling them is a good idea, gifts are never sold. I think using them  to decorate walls is a good idea. I appreciate this one.
