Flowers/Vase

Where should flowers/vase be specifically placed? I've seen a house where there are artificial flowers in every corner and it seems unpleasant for me.

I prefer fresh flowers. I place my flower vases on foyer and coffee table.

well...
Fresh flowers need to be place away from direct sunlight and silk flowers should be placed high enough that no one can tell they aren't real.
Does that help?

I have never been good with looking after flowers, apparently you are supposed to water them? My mother received a pointcetta for Christmas from my children and she is trying so hard to keep it alive. Does anyone have any pointers on this?

Flowers? Who gets flowers? LOL
I actually like fresh ones in a plain vase on my dining table or in my bedroom on my dressing table. I displayed my gorgeous roses that I got for VAlentine's Day in the lounge where everyone could see them...looked a treat!
I don't think it really matters how or where you place them; but fresh is definately best!

I also love fresh flowers. In the summer my daughter will go to the field and pick me wild flowers. I have fresh flowers in my house all summer long. I usually have a vase on the kitchen table and also on the island in the kitchen.
I have a decorative vase in my living room on a table that sits under our flat screen which is hung on the wall. It has some hay like stuff in it to give it height. There are alot of candles on this table also.

a flower vase of fresh flowers on it should be a fresh sight in a place where one can directly see as he comes from the outside...that would lighten the mood...and its scent would help too...so a high little table fronting the main door would be nice!

I absolutely love fresh flowers! My husband will bring me some in every couple weeks or so and I love displaying them. I also grow many flowers myself and always enjoy cutting my own roses, lilies, or irises. Some of my favorite places to display fresh flowers are my kitchen table in the center, my bar, my end tables, and my bedroom night stand. If I have several cut I will even sometimes put a nice vase on my bathroom countertop for guests to enjoy.

I'm a florist, so I am very partial to fresh flowers. They only ought to need replacing ever 10 days or so. (If not, you need a new florist!). Costco actually has some great flowers that last a long time and are a good price. Silks are nice if they are high quality silks. If they are somewhere where they will show dust, that is very distracting. However nice silks can be very attractive. Places. . . dining room table, sofa table, a pillar, on top of book cases. I'd NOT put them in every room, but perhaps have 2-3 vases throughout the public areas.

I suggest if its natural flowers place it near windows. If its artificial buy related to your wall color and place it in roof.

Keep a natural flowers in the flower vase, it gives great look to your home. But we get artificial flower in different color match with your room or things. Both are more attractive.
