I really need to fix the grout between our tiles.  This means I need to have enough material for the kitchen flloor and counter, the bathroom floor, the bathroom counter and teh shower stall.

I heard that you can chip out the old grout and simply refill the space between the tiles.

Is this true?

I can't afford to remove the tile as well, so I thought chipping out the old grout might be the best approach.

Any ideas?

Here is a great information site that will probably help you better than I am able.  I'd love to get mine cleaned.  It isn't chipped, but ugh, it looks dark.  I heard they can do that at a carpet cleaning service.  Maybe next month!

Hi RachelB, take all the tiles away from the groud and place it closely or fill the grout cap with required soultion that available in the tiles showroom.

Tile grout should be replaced if it starting to crack or crumble. Take more care because small cracks can turn into larger cracks. Replacing the grout will save you time and money in the future, by preventing more extensive damage.
