What is your style?

My style throughout my home is 100% country. I love the look. I love the colors.
Some of my friends have more of a Classical decor. It looks to me like it's not lived in.
I know everyone likes different things.
What is your style? Is it throughout the house? or are different rooms a different style?

I would call my style "Victorian Exotic". I like lots of deep, vibrant colors with tassels and beads accenting old, Victorian type furniture.

I don't know what you'd call our style. We have accents with iron and different textures, like a woven rug hanging by the dining table.
We also avoid reflections in glass. As a temporary experiment, we wallpapered the sliding glass doors about ten years ago, and they're still like that. We've put non-reflective glass in some framed pictures on the wall.
I agree that some homes look exotic, but definitely not really like a home.

I've never thought of decorating in a particular style, although of course I carefully pick the items, the theme, and make sure it all goes nicely together. I do not like overly fancy, high maintenance (read: hard to clean
) furniture. I dislike having too much in the room, too. I prefer open spaces.

I love the idea of being minimal. I love the clean lines and natural colours. The problem I have at the moment is my young children. It is far too difficult to be minimal with them in the house.
So, with that in mind, I would have to say that my current home is 'lived in? LOL.

My style is modern, natural and with a delicate victorian touch at the corners of the room. That would make the room more attractive than ever.

I get so terribly bored with things I end up changing them on a regular basis. Right now my look is more victorian but last year was more country.

I would love to have a minimalist country style for our house. But with the children around, I don't think the minimalist concept is far from reality.

Style? Okey...let me think here!
My style is nice, comfortable and one that is easy to keep clean!
I live very close to the beach so I guess once my renos done my style will reflect a country beach house / mansion!

I was a country girl for many years. When we went from a log home to a colonial style, my decor changed. My living room is very deco. It has a red wall which I love! The colors are red and chocolate brown. My throw pillows are red, brown and tans with circles all over them. Lots of candles around in the red and browns bring it all together.
