Title: Bleach for colors?
Post by: KrisNY on June, 07, 2009, 02:40:36 PM
Does anyone use Clorox bleach for colors?  Not regular bleach of course but the bleach for colors?

I would like to try it but am nervous.  The ads show that using it along with your regular detergent keeps the clothes brighter longer.

Anyone ever try this?

I want to try it also.  I don't think that it will hurt the clothes because it says it is made for colors, but how can it make the clothing brighter?

If you try it, let me know how it works.

Antk-- I tried it... it worked ok.  I bet it would work better on new clothes, clothes that haven't already started to fade from washing.

The clothes didn't look any more clean than by just using Tide and no clorox for colors.  I'll try it again this weekend.  Bought a lot of new summer clothes.

I'm not sure but using the bleach and detergent together will spoil the color.

I never tried to bleach my clothes, because i am afraid that the color will fade. But many of you are saying color won't fade. So i will try it once and find the difference.

No it will not hurt the clothes , it will not make the clothes brighter but it will maintain the brightness of the clothes and wont get them become dull in appearance.
