Detergent For Sensitive Skin.
« on: March, 11, 2009, 02:49:28 PM »
In trying to save money on the household shopping, I bought a cheaper brand washing powder, and it has made my husband come out in a rash.

Has anyone else had experiences like this when switching to a cdheaper alternative?

Yes!  :-[ That is why I refuse to buy cheap laundry detergent. I only buy Tide or All or Gain. They are more expensive- but worth it. I also use coupons so I am getting them on sale.
I love the Tide with Febreeze.

I am very fortunate that my family doesn't have sensitive skin so the detergents don't bother them.  I know that some people do get a rash from different detergents, so it is best to go with the more expensive brands.

Every time I've tried cheap laundry detergent, I have developed skin issues.

I've resigned myself to buying the more expensive brands!

Yes, most of us had such experiences. The problem is that the cheaper ones doesn't care about the quality of the product but I had also felt that some costly ones too have a cheap quality.
