I'm not sure what the differences are but I have to use only Tide or Gain or else my hubby and one of our daughters will break out!  I'd sure rather use a more bargain brand, because the results are the same...decently clean, fresh smelling clothing...but with them reacting to something that's in there, I can't!

I think that this is a big difference. Tide and Gain can be used if you have sensitive skin.  The others are fine if it doesn't irritate your skin.

High expensive detergents will retain the quality of the cloth and gives good smell whereas less expensive detergent don't.

Low cost detergents are allergic to my hand. I tried once but never after that. I usually prefer to buy Aerial brand. It can be used for both bucket wash and washing machine.

I don't find a  big difference between most expensive detergents as compared to reasonably priced. The only difference is the expensive ones add a good smell to your clothes, so I don't think its worth to spend on expensive ones just for sake of smell.  :)

I always like expensive detergents. Because costly detergents will retain the quality of dress and also gives good smell to the cloth. I feel the clothes is always fresh with good detergents.

Do you find that there is a difference in the more expensive detergents compared to the more reasonably priced ones?

I love the smell of Tide, but it is much more expensive than Xtra.   Doing at least 2-3 loads of laundry each day, I pick the less expensive detergents.

What do you think?

i am curious of the result..any feedback on your less expensive detergents? coz i am using tide and like to change it to another cheaper product..
