Fabric softener
« on: April, 21, 2009, 01:29:27 AM »
Do you use fabric softener? What brands?

I had not been using it before, but I have recently tried it and noticed a considerable difference - the dried clothes were so nice, very soft and pleasant to the touch.

I always use fabric softener. It makes the clothes so much softer. I hang a lot of clothes out on the clothes line- It's a must for fabric softener.

I use Downy with Febreeze. It's my favorite. It's either that or just Plain downy. I am a Downy fan!  A bit more expensive- but it's the softest I've ever touched and I love the smell.

I'll need to try Downy. The one I have tried is Bounce - the little sheets you add in the dryer with the clothes. It works very well, makes them feel soft and I think even adds a pleasant scent.

I use liquid fabric softener with every load.  I usually will use Soft and Fluffy.  It is a Walmart brand I think.  It smells really nice and is alot cheaper then Downy.

Not me... never Antk.. I'm a firm believer in Downy- I've tried the other brands and nothing softens or smells as good (to me that is). I use the Febreeze kind.

I don't like dryer sheets. Sometimes I don't dry the clothes. I might hang them outside or over the clothes bar in the basement (not to shrink them). So I always use the liquid too.

I never use dryer sheets either.   I think that liquid fab softener is best.   I also posted wrong, I use Final Touch.  Must have been having a senior moment before:)

I've never tried that kind either. For some reason I just love Downy.  I used Bounce a few times, and it just isn't as soft and fluffy as Downy. I also think it's the Febreeze-- I love that stuff!

I have tried liquid Downy and it is good! :) My whole laundry room smelled nice as the clothes were being washed. It is a bit pricy... I think I will try Walmart brands and see how they compare.

I have found that liquid also works better than sheets. The problem, though, is that the liquid has to be applied at a certain time, and I don't like haveing to catch the laundary at that certain time. Therefore, I use sheets.
