Strong detergents are harsh on clothes and could also cause you skin problenms if there is a residue after the clothes are dried. Use mild detergents, and if you feel that you need a stronger wash, let the clothes soak in the detergent for an hour or so before you start the wash cycle.

I would suggest using them both. I would normally use mild detergents because strong detergents if used excessively would ruin the fabric of the cloth. I would not use the stronger ones unless I have a stain in my clothes.

I use regular / mild. As it has already been said, strong ones can be damaging to clothes. I'd use a much smaller amount if I went for strong ones, and only for tough clothes like work jeans.

i would say it would depend on what type of fabric you are washing. if its really thick and cant be removed by mild detergents, theres no other way but to use tha strong ones, right. i guess you just have to rinse it off thoroughly so it wont affect the clothes..and better use hand gloves for that..

Like what the others have said, I prefer using the mild detergent. Strong detergents may harm your clothes. Colored clothes might fade easily. Also, it may also be harmful to your skin.

I use mild detergents and its makes my cloth clean easily because I feel the strong detergents affects the durability of your clothes and shortens their  life.
