Washing undergarments
« on: June, 07, 2009, 02:42:10 PM »
I have found that washing my underclothing on gentle with only them and then letting them air dry makes them last longer.  They don't seem to stretch out and lose their fit as quick.

Does anyone use anything special for washing these?  Do you just toss them right in with the regular clothes?

I use to sell undergarments at home parties.  We always recommended to hand wash them and let them air dry.

I really dont find the time to do this.  I  can see how they do get out of shape by putting them threw the washer and then dryer.

I think drying undergarments really takes a lot of the life out of them.  I want mine to last a long time as they are expensive.  I always let them air dry.  I don't wash them by hand though.  Never really thought of that.  Always on the gentle cycle with the washing machine.

It is better to hand wash undergarments and dry it in sunlight. So that it will be healtier.

I could wash always with hand. Even i practice my kids to wash their undergarments with hand by themselves. It is a good practice.

Washing by hands is the absolute method and easy too. But sometimes when time time won't permit me to do it i will use washing machine to wash.
