I have a few trees that I need to clear out but I also need to get rid of the roots.  Someone told me there was something like a tree salt to put on the roots that dries them up and kills them. Does anyone know anything about this stuff, maybe what it is called would help?

I've heard there's a product called SBK (stump, bush killer) works well and starts rotting them without having to dig them up.  You can probably buy it at any good garden center.  If they don't have that, then ask them what they do have that will work.

Digging and removing the root is big work to do it. Thanks ekmallette, for giving good idea.

In my garden i usually dig and remove the roots. It is very difficult to hire a person for it, even if I pay high.

I have also heard from my friend. But i inquired with the shop, i don't get it anywhere. It is not available in all shops, some rare shops only having that i think so.
