Tomato Trees
« on: April, 27, 2009, 09:23:39 AM »
My hubby planted four tomato trees in our yard yesterday. Always before we have planted tomato plants. But, this year he wanted to get the trees to see if he could grow bigger, better tomatoes. Has anyone here ever tried these and is there really a difference in the tomatoes they produce?

I have never heard of tomato trees! What are they like? How tall? I would be curious to hear from anyone who has had them, too.

What?   ??? I've never heard of tomato trees either. We plant tomato plants each year and have gorgeous tomatoes. The size depends on the type you plant. There are several types of plants.
I'd be curious to know more about tomato plants too. I'm going to google it and see what I find out.

We've grown tomato trees for three years running and the fruit is huge and succulent.  Almost like Beefsteak tomatoes.  Delicious.  We aren't growing any this year, but we've loved them in the past.

I've only heard of regular tomato vines and not trees!  What is the variety and where did you find them to plant?  You'll have to let us know how they do!

I too planted tomato trees in my garden. Tomato trees can grown in any place that never need any special attention. I feel my garden tomato taste so good than other hybrid varieties.

Flowers took the most part in my garden. I have placed rose plant in a big pot, in the sides i have planted some tomato trees. It is very useful for us, most of the time we will use our garden tomato's instead of buying in the shop.
