Sealing the wall?
« on: April, 06, 2009, 04:20:36 PM »
A friend had a leaky roof that has been fixed, but now has a stain on the wall where water spread out, and has a little mold starting to show up.

Will priming her wall seal them against further mold growth, or will she need to use a special sealer before priming?

in the painting job, as far as i know, there is a particular paint which is intended mainly to detect cracks in the walls. but at the same time it already serves as the primer. Maybe you could check this one out.

To avoid leakage it is important to seam tape the cracking if any or that leaking area. Them prime the concrete surface with two coatings.

Sealing the wall is used to avoid the leakage in the roof. Mostly sealing are coated with one time. Wallpapering are used to decorate the sealing with variety of design. It is more attractive than painting.
