We are having a brunch for Mothers Day. Does anyone have any good recipes that would be fitting for a brunch?

I usually make all kinds of salads when we have company - it makes the table look rich, with plenty of choices. One of our favorites is crab salad, very easy to make - imitation crab, hard boiled eggs, diced onion, and mayo as dressing.

Yes that would be universal! To add to it, greens would be a very healthy addition too! and delightfully crispy too!

Another quick side dish most people like - take a can of Bush's pork & beans, slice up 2-3 hotdogs, mix in, and cook until warm.

We had a brunch, so we wanted breakfast food and lunch food. We ended up having 3 egg dishes, ham, cheese danish, potatoes, rice, peanut butter bars, apple pie, and a chicken/friut salad. There was tons of food and it was all yum! Thanks for your suggestions.

Sounds like it was a great meal. I bet everyone enjoyed it. I love brunch-- I'm not a huge breakfast eater, but when you have a little breakfast and a little lunch- I'm in. I love salads, so that would have been right on top of the list.
Happy late Mother's Day!

Indeed brunch dsates are a lot of time saved. Efforts too! This is practically thebest way to maximize your day while not sacrificing any of your needed energy. Salads (greens) would be good, especially if its with the viniegrette dressing. Topped off with eggs and chicken and paella or arroz.

Egg dishes are always great for brunch, especially if you are inviting egg-lovers.
My husband is not a huge fan of eggs, but even he appreciates a good omelet or well-done scrambled.

If you are looking for fun ways to spend more time with your kids, teaching them to create fun tasty foods is the perfect way.
