Refrigerator Cake..
« on: May, 12, 2009, 05:55:18 PM »
I have always made mine using this and that practically from taste and constant practice. But never bothered to get into the right or suggested recipe. Could anyone here please give me her/his recipe on ref cakes? Thanks.

actually i know how..and learned it from a friend..all you have to need is 2 pcs of mango (sliced of course) all purpose cream and condensed milk and graham biscuits..in a pan lined up first the biscuit then mangoes then the cream and milk(mixed together) and so on and so forth depending on your ingredients actually i mean the layering of it..for me i consider it a refrigerator cake since all you have to do is freeze it after its been mixed and everything..

You got the recipe! But I do not freeze the finish product or it will be icy and watery when thawed. I just refrigerate it.

Ladybird: Thanks for that video!  I'd never even heard of refridgerator cake before.  I think with sugarfree cookies and low sugar coolwhip I could make that cake for my husband!  I'm excited now and have to go to the store... he's diabetic and I can never figure out tasty deserts for him that he can have.  Thanks!

I always thought that refrigerator cake was a yellow cake that you make regular. Then you poke holes in it and pour jello over.  Put in refrigerator for the jello to set.
