Title: Using mint in cooking
Post by: sweety on July, 13, 2009, 03:17:22 AM
I planted some mint this year and it is taking over my garden. I'm getting tired of Mojitos =) Unfortunately, I'm not sure how to use it in cooking. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Mint is a popular culinary herb, used often for making chutneys, raita and in dessert recipes as well as.

Do you drink hot tea? If you do, add some mint leaves into the teapot as you brew it. I used to do that a lot when we had mint in our garden as well, and I love the taste. If you use teabags, that's fine, you can add mint leaves into a cup, too.

My cousin tried to used mint when he cooked one of his favorite dish. Wow! it was really awesome. It seems that I want to have it everyday. How often do you use mint in cooking?
